You can go home again, but you really, really shouldn't... at least that's the moral of the story in Sculpture, a splatterific and totally demented horror flick from director Pete Jacelone. Scream queen Raine Brown stars as a disturbed artist chick who returns home for her father's funeral and decides to stick around to help her gym-owning brother out and work on an important new sculpture. Sculpture is sure to sicken easily offended viewers with its relentless gore, demented atmosphere, bodybuilders, incest, rape and utter shamelessness. Cult and erotic movie legend Misty Mundae co-stars... and that's never a bad thing.

Warning: This film contains a scene of child rape and is not for the easily offended.

Peter Jacelone gives us a story of twisted psychology and lots of blood with “Sculpture”. Ashley Steele is a talented young artist who returns home to attend her father’s funeral. She meets her brother who runs a gym in the area and from the moment the siblings come together a series of dark memories that she had put in the back of her mind come racing forward. Eventually violence ensues. The curator of a local gallery convinces Ashley to create a work of art for an upcoming show and as she works on it, she finds herself surrounded by customers from her brother’s gym and she is tormented bt flashbacks of sexual abuse from her father who was a bodybuilder. She decides that the work of art that she creates be constructed of human flesh.
We see the two sides of Ashley—one side of her is a sweet and considerate young woman while the other side is a pyschopathetic murderer. Her evil comes from her own mind and it overtakes her at times. Ashley decides to create a life size sculpture of "The Perfect Man" and this necessitates combining art, athletics, drama and horror. She uses primarily physically fit men as models and what happens to them is what this movie is about. This movie will keep you thinking afterwards about what happened and if you are in the mood for real horror with a lot of blood, this is a film for you.
