This gay sex farce tries to have it both ways -- making fun of faggots while espousing a what-will-be-will-be sexual philosophy -- and the result is a surprisingly inoffensive and politically incorrect comedy. The story revolves around Norman (Michael Warren), a handsome black man who lives with Garson (Dennis Dugan), his cute, swishy white lover in West Hollywood. Trouble brews when Norman's father, and eventually his mother (Redd Foxx, Pearl Bailey), land at the doorstep of their presumedly straight son. The film's dialogue is at time funny despite some lame jokes, stupid stereotypes and a regular lexicon of innocuous gay name-calling. Wayland Flowers and his sassy puppet Madam add to the campy humor. High camp at it's campiest!
