Uncut horsecocked Mr. Berlin rutts about like a madman in the classic Nights in Black Leather. Don't expect technical polish (as this was all shot on film), but do expect to see some serious pickups and outdoor trickings. Certainly well worth owning.

From the press notes: "In 1972, Peter Berlin and filmmaker friend Richard Abel decided to move Berlin’s street cruising persona onto film. Released in 1973, Nights in Black Leather quickly became one of the biggest-grossing all-male cast adult films of its time. A documentary style look at the typical days and nights of German immigrant Berlin in San Francisco, Nights in Black Leather provides plenty of steamy encounters and slice of life looks at gay cruising and street life of the day. Berlin is dazzling, flaunting himself in leather and his famous tight white pants, hooking up for phone sex, a steamy forest idyll, a hot threesome, and some light S&M fun along the way.

The Nights in Black Leather Special Edition includes the complete film, remastered from a newly struck 16mm print, and two classic Peter Berlin short films: Ciro and Peter (a two-part, 20 minute duet with a long-haired beauty) and the rare and controversial Waldeslust, which features a scene often cut from prints circulating in the late 1970s.

The DVD also contains photo galleries of over sixty Peter Berlin images and delves deep into Peter's archives, unearthing four newly discovered short films – never released in any format – including one featuring Peter's long-time friend Marc Majors, co-star of Blueboys, one of the short films appearing on the That Boy Special Edition.
