Justin Julius Santos’ Meeting Strangers is a joy for the eyes. The photographer is not satisfied using just one style throughout, as he enjoys experimenting with a wide variety of visual techniques. In a semi-documentary, diary style he mixes up color photos, Polaroids, black-and-white shots and thus delivers new surprises on every page. His photographs were created in short sessions with the models that he met on the street. Whether or not you think of yourself as a voyeur you are going to like this book. Justin Julius Santos may not be very well known but he definitely has a very distinct style. He hits the streets looking for gorgeous young men willing to strip for his lens. Some of the men are innocent and some look dirty and dangerous. With a combination of techniques and lots of full frontal nudity he has created an exciting atmosphere.
Just remember the last time you went out and met a hot stranger at a bar or ordering coffee at the local café. One of you invites the other back up to his place and things heat up as clothes come off and you discover a strange new body. The sexual energy is overwhelming and you want to touch every inch of skin. Waking up next to him is just as thrilling with his mussed up hair and sleepy eyes. This is a great new collection from a photographer with a very unique vision.
