Designated the number one amateur gay couple on the porn website XTube, Cole Maverick and his partner Hunter describe their lives together and their video ventures in the very readable, romantic, and undeniably hot Maverick Men: The True Story Behind the Videos.

Although the book can fairly be said to be one long advertisement for their wildly successful business making Deep Woods Drilling and their other porn enterprises, it is also a sexy and sometimes poignant account of a relationship between two men who obviously love and care about each other deeply. Related in alternating chapters by each man, it begins with the story of their meeting and the growth of their wild attraction for each other. The hunky Hunter, somewhat younger than his partner, at first fought against his love for Cole, believing it was not destined to be fully returned. However all’s well that ends well for they did establish a solid relationship. Their entrée into making porn videos began with a very modest upload to XTube and the realization that their efforts were being devoured by a devoted and growing following of gay men. They gradually incorporated hot younger men into their videos and also began charging for their product, thus turning their own sexual passion into big business.

Whether or not every word in the book is literally true, the details of their own self-described “man-to-man beast sex” and that of their young friends makes for a page-turning read that is almost as steamy as their videos.
