While I'm not a big reader of fantasy, I stumbled on this trilogy by accident and am glad I did.
Mercedes weaves a tale that pulls even the casual gay fantasy reader into it that you want to read each of these books in a single setting. At the same time however, you don't want them to end.
While Mercedes has written additional stories in this same fantasy this first trilogy is -- by far -- her BEST!
