Howard Roffman

Howard Roffman is an Ivy League educated attorney who grew up in your average middle–class neighborhood in Philadelphia. His passion for photography was always a hobby and went hand–in–hand with his passion for boys. Though he works full–time as the President of Lucas Licensing for Lucasfilms (Star Wars, Indiana Jones), he has managed to find an outlet for his real passion and has published over ten books of photography.

Roffman's first foray into professional photography came when an adorable male couple asked him to take their picture, and the rest, as they say, is history. Roffman began recruiting models for his work by handing out business cards to men that interested him and quickly built up body of work specializing in male nudes.

He is now represented by a New York gallery and his work with the gay porn studio, Bel Ami, is highly sought after. Roffman lives in San Francisco with his partner of over 30 years, Duane Waters.
