Del Shores's one-man show brings to the forefront the real live person behind "Brother-boy," "Loletta" and "Bitsy-Mae". Del is a powerhouse of comic genius and his personality is a force of nature. You'll find yourself glued to the screen as he recounts the family tales that have inspired all of his plays, TV series and films. His aunt really was "just trying to stop smoking." There really was an amputee that was having an affair with his grandmother - you heard it all here first at TLA.

For fans of both Sordid Lives the film as well as Sordid Lives: The Series - and there's a heck of a lot of you out there - Del's stand-up is going to be a treasure. Hey, you can introduce some new folks to his humor this way - break them into it gently - and maybe they'll snap a rubber band around their wrist like Sissy.

Del Shores tells us the stories behind the stories in his one man show, “My Sordid Life”. He shares his real life adventures and we see how much he has written is based on real happenings and which are products of his fertile mind. The DVD is a video of his nationwide tour that Jason Dottie, Shores’ partner planned. We know Shores as a playwright who was behind the highly successful “Sordid Lives”, the movie and the series and this is a special treat. The show is both funny and sensitive and is a must see for any Del Shores fan.
