Hunny Van Horn lives his life sailing right past hedonism and straight into pure id. Incapable of censoring himself, Hunny enlivens a slow news cycle when he becomes New York's first Instant Warren—a lottery billionaire. Helping him celebrate in questionable taste are lover Art Malinowski, stoner twins and aspiring podiatrists Tyler and Schuyler, and transvestite Marylou Whitney—of the Albany Whitneys.
Hunny's never been shy about skeletons in his closet. "What closet?" he might ask. So, he's happy to drop a few thousand here and and a few thousand there to settle old grievances, and Don's his point man to negotiate the payouts. When greedy and churlish dimwits Arletta and Clyde Breining threaten to expose Hunny's mom's long–hidden bookkeeping indiscretions unless they get half a billion dollars, Hunny's finally found a secret that he'd like to keep. Then Hunny's mom disappears, a gay posse rides into town, Sarah Palin acts as a decoy during Don's daring daylight break–in at a crafts shop, and a right–wing Focks News star campaigns against paying to the winnings to perpetuate Hunny's lifestyle. Before he knows it, Don's lost whatever small control he ever had over the outcome of events.
