A compilation of six short films dealing with gay issues. Resonance (1991, 11 min, Australia, Stephen Cummins) is a visually impressive, abstract story about a queer-bashing. R.S.V.P. (1991, 23 min, Canada, Laurie Lynd) centers on a group of students remembering their teacher who has died of AIDS. Anthem (1990, 9 min, US, Marlon Riggs) is a poetic rap exploration of love and desire as it relates to gay African-Americans. Relax (1991, 25 min, GB, Christopher Newby) is a humorous, imaginative take on one man's decision to take an HIV test. Billy Turner's Secret (1990, 26 min, US, Michael Mayson) is the entertaining story of a man coming out to his none-too-enlightened roommate. The Dead Boys' Club (1992, 25 min, US, Mark Christopher) is the best of the bunch. A pair of shoes magically transport a shy and closeted man to the carefree, boisterous days of the 1970s.
